FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Google Pixel serial number?
Go to Settings > About phone > Device identifiers on your Pixel. The serial number and IMEI are listed there. It is also printed on the original product box.
How long is the Google Pixel warranty?
All Google Pixel phones and tablets include a 1-year limited warranty from the original purchase date. Google One members with Premium plans may receive extended hardware support benefits.
Does Google warranty cover water damage?
Pixel devices have an IP rating for water resistance. Damage beyond the rated IP specification (e.g., submersion exceeding depth or duration limits) is not covered by the standard warranty. Warranty coverage for liquid damage is assessed case by case.
What does Google One hardware protection add?
Google One members at certain tiers receive hardware protection that covers accidental damage including cracked screens and liquid damage, subject to a repair fee. This is available for Pixel phones and selected Google devices.
Can I repair my Pixel out of warranty?
Yes. Google operates an out-of-warranty repair program through the Google Store and authorized service partners. iFixit also sells official Google repair parts and tools for self-repair on select Pixel models.
